วันพฤหัสที่ 30/07/2009 การเก็บเกี่ยวในช่วงการฟื้นฟู (1) : การเก็บเกี่ยวหญิงชาวสะมาเรียของพระเยซู, ยน.4:1-30

1 เมื่อพระเยซูทรงทราบว่า พวกฟาริสีได้ยินข่าวว่า พระองค์ทรงมีสาวกและให้บัพติศมามากกว่ายอห์น
2 (ความจริงพระเยซูไม่ได้ทรงให้บัพติศมาเอง แต่สาวกของพระองค์เป็นผู้ให้)
3 พระองค์จึงเสด็จออกจากแคว้นยูเดียและกลับไปยังแคว้นกาลิลีอีก
4 พระองค์จำต้องเสด็จผ่านแคว้นสะมาเรีย
5 พระองค์จึงเสด็จไปถึงเมืองหนึ่ง ชื่อสิคาร์ในแคว้นสะมาเรีย ใกล้ที่ดินซึ่งยาโคบให้แก่โยเซฟบุตรของตน
6 บ่อน้ำของยาโคบอยู่ที่นั่น พระเยซูทรงดำเนินทางมาเหน็ดเหนื่อย จึงประทับลงที่ข้างบ่อนั้น เป็นเวลาประมาณเที่ยง
7 มีหญิงชาวสะมาเรียคนหนึ่งมาตักน้ำ พระเยซูตรัสกับนางว่า "ขอน้ำให้เราดื่มบ้าง"
8 ขณะนั้นสาวกของพระองค์เข้าไปซื้ออาหารในเมือง
9 หญิงชาวสะมาเรียทูลพระองค์ว่า "ไฉนท่านผู้เป็นยิวจึงขอน้ำดื่มจากดิฉัน ผู้เป็นหญิงชาวสะมาเรีย" (เพราะพวกยิวไม่คบหาชาวสะมาเรียเลย)
10 พระเยซูตรัสตอบนางว่า "ถ้าเจ้าได้รู้จักของที่พระเจ้าประทาน และรู้จักผู้ที่พูดกับเจ้าว่า "ขอน้ำให้เราดื่มบ้าง" เจ้าก็คงจะได้ขอจากท่านผู้นั้น และท่านผู้นั้นก็คงจะให้น้ำธำรงชีวิตแก่เจ้า"
11 นางทูลพระองค์ว่า "ท่านเจ้าคะ ท่านไม่มีถังตัก และบ่อนี้ก็ลึก ท่านจะได้น้ำธำรงชีวิตนั้นมาจากไหน
12 ท่านเป็นใหญ่กว่ายาโคบบรรพบุรุษของเรา ผู้ได้ให้บ่อน้ำนี้แก่เราหรือ และยาโคบเองก็ได้ดื่มจากบ่อนี้รวมทั้งบุตรและฝูงสัตว์ของท่านด้วย"
13 พระเยซูตรัสตอบว่า "ทุกคนที่ดื่มน้ำนี้จะกระหายอีก
14 แต่ผู้ที่ดื่มน้ำซึ่งเราจะให้แก่เขานั้น จะไม่กระหายอีกเลย น้ำซึ่งเราจะให้เขานั้น จะบังเกิดเป็นบ่อน้ำพุในตัวเขาพลุ่งขึ้นถึงชีวิตนิรันดร์"
15 นางทูลพระองค์ว่า "ท่านเจ้าคะ ขอน้ำนั้นให้ดิฉันเถิด เพื่อดิฉันจะได้ไม่กระหายอีก และจะได้ไม่ต้องมาตักที่นี่"
16 พระเยซูตรัสกับนางว่า "ไปเรียกผัวของเจ้ามานี่เถิด"
17 นางทูลพระองค์ว่า "ดิฉันไม่มีผัวค่ะ" พระเยซูตรัสกับนางว่า "เจ้าพูดถูกแล้วว่าผัวไม่มี
18 เพราะเจ้าได้มีผัวห้าคนแล้ว และคนที่เจ้ามีอยู่เดี๋ยวนี้ก็ไม่ใช่ผัวของเจ้า เรื่องนี้เจ้าพูดจริง"
19 นางทูลพระองค์ว่า "ท่านเจ้าคะ ดิฉันเห็นจริงแล้วว่าท่านเป็นผู้เผยพระวจนะ
20 บรรพบุรุษของพวกเรานมัสการที่ภูเขานี้ แต่พวกท่านว่าตำบลที่ควรนมัสการนั้น คือเยรูซาเล็ม"
21 พระเยซูตรัสกับนางว่า "หญิงเอ๋ย เชื่อเราเถิด คงมีวันหนึ่งที่พวกเจ้าจะมิได้ไหว้นมัสการพระบิดา เฉพาะที่ภูเขานี้หรือที่เยรูซาเล็ม
22 ซึ่งเจ้านมัสการนั้นเจ้าไม่รู้จัก ซึ่งพวกเรานมัสการเรารู้จัก เพราะความรอดนั้นมาจากพวกยิว
23 แต่วาระนั้นใกล้เข้ามาแล้ว และบัดนี้ก็ถึงแล้ว คือเมื่อผู้ที่นมัสการอย่างถูกต้องจะนมัสการพระบิดา ด้วยจิตวิญญาณและความจริง เพราะว่าพระบิดาทรงแสวงหาคนเช่นนั้นนมัสการพระองค์
24 พระเจ้าทรงเป็นพระวิญญาณ และผู้ที่นมัสการพระองค์ ต้องนมัสการด้วยจิตวิญญาณและความจริง"
25 นางทูลพระองค์ว่า "ดิฉันทราบว่าพระมาซีฮา (ที่เรียกว่าพระคริสต์) จะเสด็จมา เมื่อพระองค์เสด็จมาพระองค์จะทรงชี้แจงทุกสิ่งแก่เรา"
26 พระเยซูตรัสกับนางว่า "เราที่พูดกับเจ้าคือท่านผู้นั้น"
27 ขณะนั้นสาวกของพระองค์ก็มาถึง เขาประหลาดใจที่พระองค์ทรงสนทนากับผู้หญิง แต่ไม่มีใครถามว่า "พระองค์ทรงประสงค์อะไร" หรือ "ทำไมพระองค์จึงทรงสนทนากับนาง"
28 หญิงนั้นจึงทิ้งหม้อน้ำไว้และเข้าไปในเมืองบอกคนทั้งปวงว่า
29 "มาเถิดมาดูท่านผู้หนึ่งที่เล่าถึงสิ่งสารพัดซึ่งฉันได้กระทำ ท่านผู้นี้จะเป็นพระคริสต์ได้ไหม"
30 คนทั้งหลายจึงพากันออกจากเมืองไปหาพระองค์

1 When therefore the Lord knew how the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John,
2 (Though Jesus himself baptized not, but his disciples,)
3 He left Judaea, and departed again into Galilee.
4 And he must needs go through Samaria.
5 Then cometh he to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.
6 Now Jacob's well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour.
7 There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink.
8 (For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.)
9 Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.
10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.
11 The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?
12 Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?
13 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:
14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
15 The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw.
16 Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither.
17 The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband:
18 For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly.
19 The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet.
20 Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.
21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.
22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.
23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
25 The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.
26 Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.
27 And upon this came his disciples, and marvelled that he talked with the woman: yet no man said, What seekest thou? or, Why talkest thou with her?
28 The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men,
29 Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?
30 Then they went out of the city, and came unto him.
